Week 2 · FIND
Find Your People
Your people already exist. You've been walking past them.
Find the humans you actually connect with — not a fictional ideal customer on a page. Find your voice while you find them. Learn to tell the difference between genuine curiosity and 'they might buy'.
You will
- Map your real personality instead of a spiritual-influencer costume
- Find where your people already gather, talk, and ask questions
- Run research that feels like hanging out, not stalking leads
- Spot the difference between a kindred person and a transaction
- Write a tribe note you can actually use next time you open the app

- 2.4 · 21 minWhere They Already AreFind the actual rooms your people already talk in, and learn how to enter as a human instead of as an affiliate announcement.
- 2.5 · 25 minThe Research PracticePractise hanging out with a notebook: what to look for, how to take notes, and how to stop research turning into a hunt.
- 2.6 · 20 minGenuine or TransactionalTell the difference between following someone because you actually connect and following them because they might buy — then clean the list.
Weekly challenge
Three Rooms
Spend this week inside three online rooms where your people already talk. Don't sell. Don't announce yourself as an affiliate. Become a person in the room.
- 1Choose three rooms: a page, a group, a hashtag, a creator's comment section, a Discord, a Facebook community — wherever your people actually are.
- 2For each room, write: what they laugh at, what they worry about, what they're tired of, what they ask.
- 3Leave nine genuine comments across the week (three per room). No pitching. No 'check my bio'.
- 4Follow ten people you'd still follow if MoonMagicx didn't exist.
- 5Unfollow or mute five accounts you only follow because you thought they might buy.
Workbook for this week
- Personality mapAuthenticity without specifics is just a poster. Map the actual bits of you that will show up online.
- Costume checkYou can't FIND your people while you're wearing a uniform they didn't ask for.
- Tribe map (not an avatar)Sarah-who-drinks-lemon-water is not coming. Write down living people.
- Three rooms — research logFIND happens in actual rooms, not on a page. Go and sit in them.
- Genuine or transactionalYour follow list tells the truth about who you think people are. Read it.

Reflection
If this week goes sideways
I don't know who my people are.
Start with who you already like talking to in real life. Tired mums. Crystal sceptics. Journal people. Night-shift nurses. Your people aren't hiding in a marketing avatar. They're the conversations you don't have to fake.
My niche is 'everyone who likes spirituality'.
That's not a tribe. That's a shopping centre. Narrow by energy, humour, life season, or the problem you actually care about. You can still be kind to everyone without trying to be for everyone.
Someone else already serves this audience.
Good. That means the room exists. You don't need to be the only one in it. You need to sound like you.
